| Your Birthdate: June 27 |
| Your birth on the 27th day of the month (9 energy) adds a tone of selflessness and humanitarianism to your life path.
Certainly, you are one who can work very well with people, but at the same time you need a good bit of time to be by yourself to rest and meditate.
There is a very humanistic and philanthropic approach in most of things that you do.
This birthday helps you be broadminded, tolerant, generous and very cooperative.
You are the type of person who uses persuasion rather than force to achieve your ends.
You tend to be very sensitive to others’ needs and feelings, and you able to give much in the way of friendship without expecting a lot in return. |
Eh… I’ll be a proper philanthropist when I’m rich. Until then, I’m just scrouging for food and shelter like the rest of us poor students. XD
Though what it said kinda reflected a lot on what I want to do… *sigh* and what I’ll never be able to do in this lifetime.

It is not as aesthetically-pleasing as the two Da Vinci Code games a long time ago (uno, dos), but I’m currently trying to solve this.
Argh. Nooooooo… there goes all of my free time…
It’s quite an evil puzzle that takes ages to solve. There are some people spending weeks on this, because there are 100+ levels or something stupid like that. *_* So if you’re really bored… like, really bored, you can try it out to while time away and get your brain working.
I’m at Level 23 and I’m going blind squinting at the screen. Eyes are screaming obscenities at me at the moment, so I’m heading to bed. If I can’t figure it out when I wake (and if I’m really desperate, I might just launch gimp), I’m going to start begging someone to help me.

Wordpress support… sucks.
Importing Wordpress from b2 with the supplied import-b2.php file doesn’t work. I thought it was just me, after multiple trials, but apparently everyone had been having the problem for ages and there is no documentation despite Wordpress initially being based on b2. It’s so pathetic.
I used to be able to import the b2 stuff over without a glitch, other than the annoying backslashes that accompanied all the quotes. Now that v1.5 is out, the script just doesn’t feckin’ work. At all. Even meddling around in the database dropping tables and renaming tables and then using the import script doesn’t work. Short of trying to manually import over or learning scripting to write one up, I’m really out of luck there because the support forums is of no use.
I’m beginning to see the best option in trying to import b2 into Wordpress is simply don’t.
Edit: For those who may be looking on trying to import b2 to Wordpress 1.5, here’s a working script. Install the normal way into the same database of your b2 (remember to backup first!), and then run the import script.

From here…
On my birthday, the top #1 hit on…
US pop charts:
The Reflex by Duran Duran
UK pop charts:
Two Tribes by Frankie Goes To Hollywood
On my 18th birthday, the top #1 hit (aka “life’s theme song") on…
US pop charts:
Hot In Here by Nelly
UK pop charts:
A Little Less Conversation by Elvis Vs JXL
*grin* I remember singing along to the song Hot In Here in the car with other girls crammed in the backseat during college while two guys sat in front. “It’s getting hot in here, so take off all your clothes, I am getting so hot, I wanna take my clothes off…” Roffle. Not sure if we made it awkward for the guys or what. :P
Fun times. Funny times. :)

I used to think that the Quicktime penguin was the cutest penguin ever. Now it’s getting dethroned by this little bugger.
Teehee. Sooooo cute, no? No idea who made it, so I can’t credit it appropriately. But it’s definitely not mine. :)

It’s probably not a good thing when your father sent you an email forward that went something like this:
God saw me hungry, he created pizza
He saw me thirsty, he created Pepsi
He saw me in dark, he created light
He saw me without problems, he created YOU.
XD

Looking through eBay (oh yes, the ever evil site!) on cat ears with my partner-in-crime for these kind of things… (more…)

A story from a Novell NetWare SysOp:
CALLER: Hello, is this Tech Support?
TECH: Yes, it is. How may I help you?
CALLER: The cup holder on my PC is broken and I am within my warranty period. How do I go about getting that fixed?
TECH: I’m sorry, but did you say a cup holder?
CALLER: Yes, it’s attached to the front of my computer.
TECH: Please excuse me. If I seem a bit stumped, it’s because I am. Did you receive this as part of a promotional at a trade show? How did you get this cup holder? Does it have any trademark on it?
CALLER: It came with my computer. I don’t know anything about a promotional. It just has ‘4X’ on it.
Err.
I can sorta see how it can be mistaken for a cup holder. Roffle. XD
Taking one of those quizzes everyone has been taking.
You matched the following traits:
Liberal - Politics matters to you, and you aren’t afraid to share your left-leaning views. You would never be caught voting for a conservative candidate.
Big-Hearted - You are a kind and caring person. Your warmth is inviting, and your heart is a wellspring of love.
Funny - You laugh often. People never accuse you of lacking a sense of humor. You don’t take yourself too seriously.
Whaaaaaaaaat? My top trait is something regarding politics?! You must be kidding! I’m non-political! >:O
But anyway, I like the funny. Yep. Humour is my friend. :) As for wellspring of love… uhm, yeah. Right. ;)
You match with men who have following traits:
Big-Hearted - You want someone compassionate, someone gentle and kind. A loving, nurturing person will fill that hole in your life.
Funny - You consider a good sense of humor a major necessity in a date. If his jokes make you laugh, he has won your heart.
Adventurous - You are looking for someone who is willing to try new things and experience life to its fullest. You need a companion who encourages you to take risks and do exciting things.
Wahlau, sounds like I ask for a lot like that.

The lunar calendar’s thirteen 28-day months had four 7-day weeks, marking the new, waxing, full, and waning moons. Thirteen months is 364 days. Pagan traditions describe an annual cycle as a 13 months and a day. Even today, Easter is the first Sunday after the first full moon after the spring equinox. The 13 month calendar also led to pagan reverence for the number 13 and the Christian attempts to demolish it. Generally, the ancient symbols of matriarchy were the night, moon and 13. Patriarchy (under Christianity) honored the day, the sun and 12.
So much for the unlucky 13. :P So it has a Christian root, after all!
And it’s all men’s fault.

OMFG, it’s probably the first time I’ve seen weather.com say it’s sunny here. I just find it odd that it would say it’s sunny when it’s already 7:23pm, and yet earlier on during noontime it was saying it was hazy or something of that sort. Roffle.
The sun looks so cute and cheerful at the status bar of my browser (ForecastFox extension)! ^_^ It’s so nice when it’s not raining that I just had to blog about it, yes. :D
